London Tube Dogs

Rufus, the Pyrenean mountain dog, has become a mainstay of the daily tube commute. Although he is, for obvious reasons, generally beloved by Londoners, an anonymous texter going by the name "NOTDOGLOVER" has voiced objections to the "pony-like" dog riding the train.

Somewhat more usual sort of tube dog

The below signs are well known and beloved for, amongst other things, their grammatical vagueness (e.g. what if I don't have a dog?)

I like the interchangeability of children and dogs.

These signs lead to behaviors as above.

I believe this is an older sign, which shows a somewhat larger type of dog. Perhaps they changed it because they thought it would lead to the type of confusion seen below...

I obviously love this Dusty, who is here modeling a doggie jacket made out of tube seat upholstery (otherwise known as "moquette").
